This image of comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope on Aug. 8, 2020. Hubble's image represents the first time a comet of this brightness has been photographed at such resolution after this close of a pass by the Sun. The two structures appearing on the left and right sides of the comet's center are jets made up.

In July 2020, comet NEOWISE (short for C/2020 F3 NEOWISE) has thrilled skywatchers in North America, in Europe, and in space. If you don't spot the comet this time around, you won't get another chance. It has a long, elliptical orbit, so it will be approximately 6,800 years before NEOWISE returns to the inner parts of the solar system.

The composition of comets hold clues about the early stages of the formation and evolution of the Solar System. Being the brightest comet observed in the northern hemisphere since the passage of comet C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp) in 1997, comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) represents an interesting target for studying its coma composition and the chemical inventory of its nucleus.

We aim to estimate the.

This paper presents the results of low-resolution spectral observations of the comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE). The emission lines in the spectrum of the comet, observed in the wavelength region λλ3800−7500, on July 20 and 27, 2020, were identified using the 2-meter telescope at Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory. The wavelengths of 90 emission lines, including 31 emission lines from the carbon.
